GROUP

A group is a set of map objects. Groups allow to animate objects together. Objects that are part of a group do not take part in forming clusters.

Groups can also be created for selecting sets of objects (helper groups).

Helper group

If group objects are not animated and we want them to behave like static objects (form clusters, have optimized static shadows), they can be marked as a helper group. In order to mark a group as a helper, check the helper option in the panel on the right side on the Groupstab. All groups that are not moving should be helper groups.

Automatic group

An automatic group is automatically animated in a loop. Loop time can be specified for an animation. The groups that are not marked as automatic will not move unless some Actor (for example a Door actor) moves them.

Looped track

This option causes the first and the last track key to be interpolated as if the first key was present after the last key. This option should be checked in the case of looped animations (for example, a rotating fan).
