LIGHT
A light is an object that is a source of light on a map. A light can have any color.
There are the following kinds of lights:
-
A point light, which creates an omnidirectional light source.
-
A directional light, which emits light in a certain direction. A light cone angle can be set for this kind of light.
-
A cube-map filtered light. In order to set a filtering cube map for a light, select the light and then double click on a material in the material panel on the right side of Flow. The first material layer is used as a filter for the light. If the first material layer does not use a cube map, the light will not be filtered.
A light can also create the stained glass effect. More information about the stained glass effect can be found in the section about materials. Only a point light can create the stained glass effect.
A light cannot be directional and filtered with a cube map at the same time.
